Outreach Services
Non-residential support services are provided for victims and their children who don’t need shelter but are in need of emotional support, legal assistance and DV counseling. Our advocates are trained in many areas of domestic violence including safety planning, lethality assessments, the dynamics of domestic violence, and the effects of trauma.
An outreach office and survivor advocate are available in each parish that we serve:
Lafayette, Acadia, Vermilion, St. Landry, Evangeline, Avoyelles, and Rapides.

Support groups
Support groups are offered weekly to adults and children.

Legal Advocacy
Assistance with filing protective orders, access to an advocate to be with you during court proceedings.
