Rebecca McMillan works with the staff to ensure all survivor needs are met while in shelter. Rebecca also oversees facility maintenance at the emergency shelter ensuring the shelter is always up to all Health and Safety guidelines.
Rebecca has a personal background in domestic violence and has a passion to work with survivors as well as an understanding of what the cycle of abuse can do long-term in an individual’s life. She cannot see herself working in any other field.
Rebecca shows great enthusiasm when working with survivors and believes that the work she does to help support victims of domestic violence is pertinent for the safety of our community.
Rebecca is a trained advocate for domestic violence survivors and has worked in the social service field for many years. She has worked at Faith House, and programs that service Faith House, for over 14years.
Rebecca is only a few semesters away from completing her Bachelor’s in Psychology.
