Judy LeBlanc is a life long resident of Gueydan (Vermilion Parish) where she is the editor of The Gueydan Journal Newspaper. Married to Tim LeBlanc who is a teacher at Gueydan High School and also the Justice of the Peace, Judy and her husband have three sons and two grandsons.
She is a member of the board of directors for the Gueydan Duck Festival, Pageant Director for the Duck Festival, member of the Gueydan Chamber of Commerce, member of Les Dames de Gueydan (civic organization) and member of the Gueydan Mardi Gras Krew. Judy was was recently awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Gueydan Chamber of Commerce.
She has balanced marriage, raising three sons, working in her career and volunteering for the last 33 years. Among her many accomplishments, she is most proud of her three sons, and being a part of a friendship among six girlfriends who have been her friends for 50 years!
